7H are thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership between 7H and Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, one of the world’s preeminent schools for hospitality management.   This strategic partnership will provide ongoing learning opportunities across 7 Hospitality Management’s hotel teams to grow their businesses and to allow their key talent across their portfolio to succeed professionally.

Sarah Osborne, Head of Human Resources, 7H says

“Covid-19 has hit our hospitality industry hard, arguably one of the hardest hit industries.  There have been some exceptionally challenging times, however we must always be looking ahead to the future and remind ourselves of what is always key to the success of our businesses and that is people – exceptional people. We believe now, more than ever, is the time to invest in our hospitality teams to drive us back towards our thriving hospitality industry.  The combination of Brexit and Covid has resulted in significant recruitment difficulties across our sector and we must look at more attractive ways to attract and retain our people.  That is why we have committed and invested our time in creating ongoing learning opportunities and our Senior Leaders Programme in an exciting new partnership with Cornell University, which will equip our leaders of our businesses with the necessary tools and essential knowledge to lead and drive their teams, and ultimately our businesses, to success.”

The partnership expands on one of 7H’s core values; Investment in our People: We continuously invest in our people to ensure that they are the best that they can be.  The first phase stage of the partnership will be focussing on 7H’s General Managers as the portfolio’s Senior Leaders with some core learning for their Deputy’s and Operations Managers as supporting roles before expanding into the wider hotel teams.
